My therapeutic style is practical and progressive. My mission is to offer you a confidential space where you can share your story. Together, we will craft an integrative, therapeutic approach that will empower you to take our sessions out into your daily life. Unique clinical offerings include walk and talk therapy, online counseling and yoga therapy.

Therapy is about the moments and experiences outside of the therapy room. We will identify skills and modalities that you can use in your daily life to help you better cope, communicate and engage in your world. So often we know what we want to do, what we should do and yet we find ourselves engaging in the opposite of those behaviors, thoughts and feelings.

It's time to explore the gap between what we are experiencing and what we hope to experience.

More Info About My Practice

I have experience working with adolescents and adults through individual, couples, family, and group therapy at multiple levels of care. As a certified yoga instructor, I utilize mindfulness and breathing exercises to explore the mind-body connection. Clinical work experiences include Metro Behavioral Health Associates Eating Disorder Centers, Mount Sinai Medical Center, Grace Institute and St. Barnabas Hospital.

Theoretical Influences that Guide My Work

A reality of day-to-day life is the potential presence of discomfort. Part of our work will be to become more comfortable with the idea of being uncomfortable. There will always be ups and downs. Our work will enable you to experience the heights of the ups and to afford yourself compassion and strength for the downs. Momentary discomfort is inevitable; feeling defined or overwhelmed by moments of discomfort, is not.
