Starting therapy can be both daunting and exciting. And finding the best therapist for you, is key.
I understand how overwhelming life can be at times, especially in this city. Therapy is a way to understand what may have you feeling stuck, or why your important relationships are suffering. Together we will create a space of trust and connection to look at what is most pressing for you now, as well as explore old patterns that might be holding you back.

More Info About My Practice

I have a foundation in contemporary psychotherapy, and see the client/therapist relationship as the primary vehicle for change. I also like to bring a spirit of creativity to our work, and believe humor and lightness can have a place too.

With over 10 years of diverse work and education experience, I bring a variety of tools to help you address anxiety and other disruptive emotions. My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive and non-judgmental.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Psychotherapy is for anyone who has had a childhood (or was denied one) a family or who wants a healthy, long-term relationship. It is not just for the "weak" or the "flawed." It is for human beings who want to understand themselves and their emotions better. Psychotherapy is a healing collaboration that can be both challenging and greatly rewarding.

My Role as a Therapist

I am here with you on this journey of self-discovery as a compassionate, steady guide. It is a basic human desire to want to be seen and accepted for who we are. My role is to be a grounding force, a trustworthy mirror and to offer another perspective if it will help you get to where you need to go.
