Many new clients tell me that they've spent a lot of time talking about their problems in therapy without much changing in their lives. It's essential for therapy to explore the source of your problems, which lies just beneath your conscious awareness.
Experiential therapy uses exercises and experiments to gently activate and study the limiting beliefs and patterns behind your behavior. Many clients are scared of what they might find but it's often a big relief to see exactly what's been causing the problem. Once we're clear on the beliefs generating the challenges you're facing, we use precise methods for shifting those beliefs based on neuroscience research.
We've all experienced how just talking about your problems over and over can feel tedious and frustrating, but I find this way of working enlivening; it's full of the excitement of new discoveries. As the blocks that have been holding you back begin to shift, it's so energizing to feel your potential freeing up and to be more in touch with who you are and what you want.
