My Approach to Helping

I want therapy to be something you can look forward to instead of feeling like a chore. I hope that you leave each session feeling understood and validated. I create a space where nothing is off limits or taboo so you can show up as your raw, honest self in order to dig deep and create meaningful change.

More Info About My Practice

I believe that therapy is for everyone and that mental health is political. I value the idea of prevention over intervention as much as possible. I also acknowledge that many systems and barriers exist that restrict access to quality mental health care. I believe that mental health must be viewed as a piece of an overall holistic puzzle in which we must meet basic needs before we reach the levels of optimal mental health.

Groups I Work With

I love working with young adults because we speak the same language. Therapy doesn’t have to be stuffy to be effective! I will happily invite your self-deprecating humor and pop culture references into the therapy space if it helps you to process your quarter-life crisis. If you're struggling to adjust to post-grad life, have professional or grad school struggles, anxiety, or burnout, I can help. I am also passionate about working with people experiencing relationship issues, trauma, grief, and ADHD as well as those who are seeking to better understand their self and patterns of being.
