My Approach to Helping
You're tired of letting your anxiety run your life. You keep repeating the same patterns at work or at home, but can't seem to pull yourself out of it.
You're ready to find a true sense of calmness and power - in your body and mind.
Truth is, real change starts within.
It starts with slowing down enough. And getting curious about what's working and what's not. When you get curious about how you show up in the world - in your work, your relationships - that's how change begins.
I'll help you reconnect with your internal rhythms in a meaningful and creative way using mindfulness, breathing, and your own music.
Music therapy can directly connect you to your past, present, and future selves - cutting through the chatter and BS straight to memory, emotion and hope.
Feeling calm and confident is your birthright. I can show you how.
More Info About My Practice
We'll start with a free 20 minute phone consultation - this is a chance to ask me any questions you may have and to share a bit about what's going on in your life and why you're considering therapy right now.
If it feels like a good potential fit to work together, then we'll schedule your first in-person session in my office.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
I hear you. And I've been there. But if you're feeling stuck (or are ready for more - whatever that means for you), therapy can be very helpful.
Having been in your place, I will do my best to help you feel comfortable. My style is warm and real - I curse, wear jeggings and laugh loudly.
Going to therapy doesn't mean you're weak or can't take care of yourself - it means you're brave enough to say "I can't do it all alone anymore" or "I'd like to feel better than I do right now" or "I need some help, and that's okay".
Therapy is not just for crisis management, but can help you better understand yourself, your decisions, and your feelings.
