My Approach to Helping

Have you learned how to power through, but inside you feel numb and disconnected? Do you feel stuck in repetitive cycles of anxiety and worry? Does your anxiety show up everywhere - at home, at work, in your relationships?

It's time for a change.

I'll help you learn simple ways to feel calmer. Then together we'll help you reconnect with and understand your feelings. There's a reason for your stuckness and we'll figure it out together.

More Info About My Practice

Feeling stuck is really damn hard - and it doesn't have to define you anymore.

You don't need to push away or ignore your feelings anymore. I've created a safe space for you to slow down and get curious. You and I will explore -- with curiosity and kindness -- what your anxiety and stuckness mean for you, when and why they started, and how you can connect to energy and momentum.

We'll work together to help you connect to your body, your feelings, and yourself in a way that feels safe and soothing. My practice focuses on a creative approach to therapy that integrates creativity, mindfulness and music. We'll discuss what happens in your body when anxiety or stuckness happen, so you can feel empowered to move forward. You'll learn how to express all of your feelings - even the ones you judge or push away.

You'll gain helpful tools, meaningful insight into your inner world and a deep connection to your own resilience.

My Role as a Therapist

I will not make assumptions about your life and your story, and I will not tell you exactly what to do.

That's not my job (for real).

It is my job to guide you - to offer gentle nudges to help your growth and ask questions that encourage you to pause, think, and feel.

It is my job to help you clear away years (or decades) of unhelpful patterns - of being the "good girl", of anxiety spirals, of feeling not good enough.

I believe in being real as a therapist -- I curse, laugh loudly, wear jeggings and my "Nevertheless she persisted" necklace.

If you're ready to reclaim your rhythm as a powerful and calm woman, send me a message and let's chat about working together. You can also schedule your free 20 minute phone consultation directly on my website. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
