Sherry Henig, Ph.D.

I am a compassionate, experienced psychologist, in practice for over 35 years. I have been fortunate to have a vocation that is my avocation; and, relatedly, I expend substantial effort in ever-broadening my skills so that I can be as effective as possible in helping my clients reach their goals. In addition to clients that I help in my practice as a therapist, I enjoy helping others through the self-help books that I write for adults, and for children and their parents.

I have expertise in the treatment of OCD, having been trained through the International OCD Foundation. I have expertise in working with couples, particularly with issues of intimacy. I'm a certified sex therapist and I have training in the Gottman Method of working with couples, and training in Susan Johnson's Emotionally Focused Therapy. And, after receiving my Ph.D. in clinical psychology, I earned a postdoctoral diploma in child and adolescent psychotherapy. You can read more about me on my website.
