My Approach to Helping

Dr. Karla Fallon is a Columbia University trained psychotherapist who offers her clients the highest quality of individualized care. She structures her therapy practice around the humanistic principle of meeting each client where he or she is, then diligently working to understand his or her individual goals, challenges, and circumstances. Drawing upon a strength-based approach, Dr. Fallon empowers her clients to reach their fullest potential and achieve their personal goals.

Dr. Fallon offers flexible evening and weekend appointments to accommodate her clients' busy schedules. She is a responsive and results driven therapist who provides immediate support because people struggling with mental health issues, trauma, emotional pain, or instances of turmoil and upheaval need this type of commitment and access.

After graduating from Columbia University where she received her MA and EdM in counseling psychology, Dr. Fallon continued to Saybrook University in San Francisco, where she earned a PhD in psychology. Her work in the field is honored by her role as a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine.

Dr. Fallon's fifteen years of experience in the fields of psychology and mental health guide her therapy practice, as well as her work as a leader in Community Mental Health. She oversees programs that offer mental and behavioral health care to some of the most underserved communities in New York.

Her doctoral degree from Saybrook University deepened her knowledge base in organizational psychology and systems thinking. She is honored as a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine.
