My Approach to Helping
My therapeutic approach is strengths-based and person-centered, meaning we will work collaboratively to determine what interventions will work best for you. I practice various modalities such as cognitive behavior therapy, grief therapy, supportive therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. Through out sessions I like to reflect, listen and guide you on how to manage difficult times, manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and identify certain patterns of thinking or behaviors that may not be serving you and replace them with ones that will benefit your quality of life.
