My Approach to Helping
I graduated from Columbia University with my Master of Science in Social work. During my training, I worked as a social worker intern at Hope Leadership Academy, providing social and emotional support to high school students to promote college and career readiness. Then I worked at the Center for Prolonged Grief, where I received the bulk of my training on grief and its treatment. These experiences have informed my work. My therapeutic approach is strengths-based and person-centered. I will collaborate with you to figure out what will work best for you, and I will continue to point out your progress during our time together. I like to reflect, listen and guide you on how to manage difficult times, manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and identify certain patterns of thinking or behaviors that may not be serving you and replace them with ones that will benefit your quality of life.
