Sometimes we are faced with difficulties or stuck in patterns that leave us feeling hopeless, vulnerable and overwhelmed. With compassion and authenticity I want to help you to discover and nurture healing change so you can lead the life that you deserve to live. Through mindfulness, connection and understanding, we can recognize the challenging feelings, thoughts and behavior, learn to manage them and find more joy in your days.

I also provide nonjudgmental couples therapy to help you and your partner better understand the cycle that creates disconnection and find new ways to understand each other. You will discover and explore ways to deepen intimacy, cultivate connection, and lead a more fulfilling shared life.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Being a psychotherapist has allowed me to discover how grateful I am for being trusted to make authentic connections with others. Making a vulnerable choice to share who we are with others shows such courage, integrity and strength. These are values that I admire in those that I work with. We all need to be understood, accepted, and recognized. We all need to feel connected. I am honored that I am given this opportunity.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

Through my own personal struggles, I've come to understand pain, sorrow and distress in ways I could never understand without having lived through them. And living through this pain, I've also learned about resiliency, emotional depth, and inner strength. I don't pretend to understand the pain of others because I've felt pain myself but what I can do is connect with something in myself that knows that feeling. Having experienced deep despair and coming out on the other side, I know that there can be joy through sorrow and there can be strength through hopelessness. Working through and not around the difficulties life brings to us has helped me to discover and share the strengths that I hold as a therapist.
