My Approach to Therapy

Clients come to me when they are feeling disconnected from themselves or their relationship and they’re ready to understand why. Maybe you are noticing that you are getting stuck in the same cycles even though you've been trying to do things differently. Often, the ways you’ve learned to cope came from an honest place but now they may be keeping you from living authentically, leaving you feeling frustrated, defeated, and lost. I work with individuals and couples who are ready for lasting change and ready to process old wounds, reconnect with themselves, and create more grounded, secure, and fulfilling relationships. I use attachment-based, somatic, and trauma informed approaches to address the root of your low self-worth, working to nurture your inner child and develop a stronger sense of self. For couples, I use this same framework to foster empathy, understanding, and meaningful connection. I also integrate EMDR into the therapeutic process when beneficial. Therapy is a collaborative journey and I want clients to feel that they can show up as their most authentic self. My clients know that I also aim to show up honestly and congruently, bringing warmth, humor, and creativity into sessions. Finding a therapist is hard and I'm here to help you find the right fit. My Practice & Services

My practice is located in the Highlands neighborhood of Denver, where I provide a warm, supportive space for individuals and couples seeking healing and growth. I specialize in EMDR therapy, attachment-based work, and couples therapy, helping clients navigate trauma, relational challenges, and life transitions. Whether you’re looking to break free from negative patterns, strengthen your relationship, or heal past wounds, therapy offers the opportunity to create meaningful and lasting change. I strive to create a nonjudgmental, collaborative environment where clients feel truly seen and supported on their journey toward greater connection and well-being.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

I believe therapy is a powerful tool for self-discovery, healing, and transformation-both individually and in relationships. It provides a safe space to explore patterns, process past wounds, and build a deeper understanding of yourself and your connections with others. Therapy isn't about fixing what is "wrong" but rather uncovering the strengths, resilience, and authenticity that already exist within you. For individuals, this may mean healing attachment wounds, shifting limiting beliefs, or finding clarity in life's challenges. For couples, therapy offers an opportunity to strengthen emotional bonds, improve communication, and heal relational wounds. My goal is to walk alongside you, whether individually or as a couple, as you gain clarity, self-compassion, and the tools needed to create a more fulfilling and connected life.
