As an insight-oriented therapist, I approach therapy with the general goal of helping you better understand yourself and what matters to you. Driven first and foremost by what you want to accomplish, together we can uncover your true potential so you can lead a life that is worth celebrating. This process often involves a combination of making sense of earlier experiences, working with ongoing patterns, and re-evaluating future expectations or assumptions. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will likely focus the most on long-standing relational or behavior issues and negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. You can expect me to really take the time to get to know you, as well as provide you with helpful feedback that you can apply to yourself and others in everyday interactions. We will also be able to look at and deal with thoughts, feelings, and reactions that arise in therapy in order to work directly in the here-and-now moment. Whether you are looking for extra support during a challenging situation, or you simply want to change directions in your life, I look forward to us working collaboratively.
