My Approach to Helping

Welcome. Let's begin. You are taking an important step toward a more meaningful life. As your therapist, I create an empathic and safe space for you to explore your life priorities and purpose; heal and grow; seek understanding and inspiration; and bring about lasting change.

Through our work together, you will navigate life choices and cope with challenging stressors with more psychological and spiritual resilience. I will guide you toward greater balance and more fulfilling relationships with yourself and with others. Ultimately, you will feel more hopeful, empowered, and free.

I can help you create the life you want to be living. I listen closely to your unique experiences as we collaboratively understand and meet your individual needs. My integrative, strengths-based approach draws from psychodynamic, relational, existential & humanistic traditions. I incorporate DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed coping skills.

I have a specialty in group therapy. I lead "here and now" adult interpersonal process groups. My groups integrate psychodynamic, relational, modern analytic, Jungian, attachment, systems, and gestalt traditions to promote spaces for emotional honesty, relational mindfulness, and progressive emotional communication. Group therapy provides a social laboratory for you to learn more about yourself in relationship, including how you impact others and how others impact you. I currently have openings in adult groups, young adult groups, women's groups, relationships groups, singles & dating groups, and life transitions groups. Groups can help you find greater authenticity, courage, self-awareness, and love.

Welcome to this next part of your journey. You don't have to do this alone. I will accompany you as you transcend wounds and transform your existence into one of peace, passion, meaning, fun, and enlivening connection and play.

Are you ready to realize your vision for who you want to be and how you want to live? If so, I look forward to hearing from you.
