To help and empower you to safely get you through multiple challenges in various stages of your life!!
As a person and a busy professional, I am fully aware that relationships, personal and professional issues can cause high stress, anxiety, unexplained sadness, self-doubt, restlessness, impulsiveness and even feelings of hopelessness. Do you feel that you need to change any of these uncomfortable feelings or behaviors? Let's work together. I see you as an expert on your own life, and offer my expertise to achieve goals that you have to make positive and lasting change. I will actively support and guide you to explore the emotional obstacles you face and the old thought/behavioral patterns that undermine your happiness and self-growth. When you meet me for a consult or therapy, instead of giving you a diagnosis and start treatment, I would like to know you as a WHOLE person at first. I believe that our mind and body are powerful self-regulating devices and we can rely on their synchronicity for our fast changing needs. To achieve self-regulation, I utilize evidence based tools from Psychology (CBT, DBT etc.), Neurosciences (neurotransmitters, gene impressions, brain cells), Yoga Philosophy (mindfulness, mediation, Mudras, basic stretches) and Gut integrity (healthy eating). In addition, I also collaborate with Psychiatrists and other doctors as needed. Self-regulation is very important for our equilibrium and it needs work. I'll work equally hard with you because we know that input equals output.
It's never too late to bounce back and become your most powerful self!!

What I Usually Need to Know to Help

In a brief therapy, the focus is on the present problem which is interfering in daily life and if there is an urgency to resolve the situation.
I believe all of us are the sum total of our experiences since the day we were born. We are what we have learned from our thoughts, behaviors and environment. To help you, I would need to know your personal/professional background; your strengths; your motivation; family status; education; medical/Psychiatrist history; social support; and present coping skills. I feel all of us are like a wheel, and if a couple of legs in a wheel are not okay, its going to effect the wheel. Knowing about you will help me to understand where you are coming from and how to help you to learn not get derailed in any situation.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

I believe that when you reach out for help it is because you are very resilient; refuse to accept half life and want to change your situation to be able to live peacefully and happily. Going for a brief or long term therapy helps to dissect your situation in a safe environment, and then taking care of it step by step. Going for therapy helps because you have a partner (therapist) with unconditional respect who will help you to make progress and achieve your goals. Again you are brave to seek help to have a fulfilling experience of your existence.
