My Approach to Helping
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker experienced in working with both adults and children in clinical mental health settings—as well as working with diverse populations through non-profit organizations, private practices, and New Jersey's System of Care. Practitioner of Evidence-based treatment methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Crisis Intervention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychoeducation, and Motivational Interviewing. Additionally certified as a Nurtured Heart Parent Coach and NJ School Social Worker.
I am currently 100% virtual and offer telemedicine services.
My life experiences are what lead me to become the therapist I am today.
Growing up, my therapist was my hero. She gave me the tools I needed to handle whatever life threw at me. Because of that, I knew from a young age that I wanted to become a person that could offer others the same kind of support.
Helping people is what I look forward to everyday—fostering personal growth, and providing the support they need to become healthier and more empowered. The most rewarding thing about being a therapist is inspiring others to be all they can be.
I am committed to helping you make progress towards your goals.
More Info About My Practice
We'll meet for 60-minute one-on-one sessions based on a schedule that works for you. Based on your unique needs, I will provide you with evidence-based solutions while guiding you towards a deeper understanding of your emotions.
My practice is based on the philosophy of putting you first.
- I believe that change is possible when you allow yourself the space to do the work
- I believe that we can stop feeling shame when we share our story with someone who is capable of listening with empathy and understanding.
-It's important to me to provide a safe space where you can be yourself. There isn't a "one size fits all" approach to Counseling. Our sessions will fit your specific needs and concerns.
