She completed her Pre-Doctoral Internship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center Childhood Trauma Treatment Program. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults who have histories of abuse and trauma. In her work with people recovering from addictions, she specializes in individual, family and group psychotherapy. Kellie works extensively with individuals and families recovering from the impact of addiction. She works with parents in the areas of attachment, discipline and boundary setting.

I facilitate a variety of ongoing process groups for survivors of trauma, individuals recovering from eating disorders, addictions, and co-dependency. Additionally, I facilitate clinical supervision and professional development groups for clinicians.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

My personal struggles certainly helped pave the way to my career as a therapist. I have experienced the impact of a perfectly imperfect life experiences, combined with a variety of open and supportive therapeutic relationships. These relationships have helped me define how I want to practice as a psychologist.
