Schaumburg is a village in Cook County and DuPage County in Illinois. It has a land area of 19 square miles. The area’s first inhabitants were members of the Pottawatomie, Fox, Sauk, and Kickapoo Indian tribes. Schaumburg was incorporated in 1956.
