My Approach to Therapy

How often do you find yourself rehashing uncomfortable moments or regrets? It is so easy to lose yourself and get caught up in trying to meet everyone else’s expectations you can lose sight of your own. Life is full of successes but they can feel overshadowed by disappointments. You want to roll through the ups and downs – to give yourself grace and to move forward, but instead, you feel burdened with doubt and regrets. You are not 'broken'. You are doing your best to navigate through a contradictory world and provide yourself with hope and love during life's unique challenges. I help people of all ages learn to forgive themselves for not being 'perfect' – all while learning to give yourself the grace you deserve. I work with you to increase the ease with which you healthily cope with the stressors of life; and to learn to create a space for yourself and gain a sense of self acceptance and self actualization. My clinical expertise fosters an authentic therapeutic relationship with a focus on self-compassion. Therapy that fosters collaborative and compassionate care. A refreshing blend of humor, creativity, and freedom. A place where you can fully express yourself without filters; showing up as your authentic self. I meet you where you want to be met.
