My Approach to Therapy

With over 10 years of experience, I help people stop feeling like they have to be perfect in order to be worthy. Many of us carry self-criticism, shame, and unrealistic expectations that make life more difficult than it already is. I help people through evidence based modalities while also incorporating psychoeducation as well as lived experience. To learn to create space for yourself and gain a sense of self acceptance and self actualization. I engage with you conversationally to create movement, perspective shifting, and change towards a healthier you. You are doing your best to navigate through a contradictory world. My clinical expertise fosters an authentic therapeutic relationship with a focus on self-compassion, perspective shifting, as well emotion regulation strategies. A refreshing blend of humor and creativity. A place where you can fully express yourself without filters; showing up as your authentic self. I meet you exactly where you want to be met. I have a Masters of Social Work with a specialization in mental health as well as a masters in women’s studies and gender studies both from Loyola University Chicago. My undergraduate degree is in psychology with a minor in sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). I am an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider and certified in DBT.
