My Approach to Helping
I believe in providing a place for people that are ready to "explore themselves" in therapy and to help them achieve the goals they seek whether that be in achieving the relationships they seek, vocations they desire, or just feeling comfortable in themselves.
I utilize a toolbox of techniques ranging from CBT to DBT to DBT-RO depending on the client and the client's needs. The client and I collaboratively work at developing the goals and, through the client's feedback, focus on techniques that are achieving results.
While looking at the holistic needs of the client, I promote wellness in all areas and utilize a straightforward approach. Clients enter therapy with the aim to achieve a goal in a safe, secure environment that promotes self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-efficacy.
