My Approach to Helping
You are a young adult who isn’t feeling like yourself and you don’t know where to begin. You may be going through a transition in life that is difficult to navigate. You’re dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, or addiction. Perhaps you are starting a new job, going through a breakup or graduating college. You are experiencing feelings of frustration, sadness, mood instability, stress, increased substance use, and lack of motivation. My goal is to provide you with a comfortable, safe space where we can work together on your goals, as I draw from your existing strengths.
I have experience working with kids, teens and adults with issues relating to depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, mood disorders, relationships, and loss. I have a non-judgmental approach that is warm and honest, sprinkled with humor. I utilize psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques that I will tailor to meet your individual needs.
I will dedicate our sessions to empower you to make changes, restore balance in your life, and provide you with insight and hope. You will gain overall clarity and notice an improved mood.
