My Approach to Helping
Dr. Gomes works with his clients through a therapeutic process that focuses on uncovering the unconscious conflicts that may be holding them back from living their best lives. By utilizing psychoanalysis, Dr. Gomes works to help his clients understand how their early relationships and experiences are shaping their present-day thoughts and behaviors. He believes that by examining the past and understanding how experiences have affected life and relationships, clients can create a better, more fulfilling future.

How Psychotherapy Can Help
Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy can help in three essential aspects of mental health:
First, you will be able to explore the roots of internal struggles instead of just addressing their surface. Second, psychoanalytic psychotherapy will help you ask the right questions. They are essential to help find out who you are and how your inner reality affects life and relationships. Third, you will be able to revisit your own story through lenses of new meanings.
