My Approach to Helping

Life transitions are a time of personal growth and exploration. Maybe you’ve finally earned your diploma, signed a new job offer, or booked a one-way ticket to the other side of the country.

Possibilities are seemingly endless, and everywhere you turn, there are opportunities to start fresh, shed old parts of your identity, and form new relationships.

Change can bring up a mix of emotions. If you find yourself feeling nervous or wondering what’s next, I’ll facilitate a space to explore your inner world as you move into your next phase.

The undoing of aloneness you can find in therapy is so powerful. Many of us feel isolated when moving through difficult emotions, but with guidance, it’s easier to see yourself as a part of a whole.

Therapy is a space to be messy, vulnerable, and explore your tender parts, so we’ll move at a pace that’s comfortable for you. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, clarify your values, and work through anxiety to co-create solutions that move to where you want to be. My goal is for you to feel confident being fully, authentically yourself and building a life you love.

More Info About My Practice

My approach is guided by a philosophy of emotional safety, which is earned through time and trust. I come from a trauma-informed place and will do whatever it takes to ensure each client feels comfortable and valued.

Human connection is important to me in and outside of therapy. When I’m not with clients, I love spending time with family, friends, and my partner. I also have a four-year-old cat named Luna. If we work together, you might have the chance to meet her on screen!

Exercising regularly is an important part of maintaining my own mental health. As someone who used to live in Colorado, I get outside as often as I can and enjoy hiking, going to parks, and being in nature.

Groups I Work With

Milestones like graduating college, having a child, or going through a break up can trigger stress, anxiety, and existentialist thinking. I help people stay centered and connected to themselves as they move into new life stages.

During these times, our relationships and identities often come into focus, especially when it comes to forming new friendships, changing family structures, or starting a new romantic relationship. In our work together, we’ll explore all the intersecting parts of your identity and focus on ways to build healthy, nourishing connections with the people around you.
