My Approach to Helping
In my practice, I work with a range of psychological and emotional issues including mood disorders and depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, self-esteem difficulties, and identity and adjustment concerns. I also work with eating concerns (anorexia or restricted eating, bulimia, binge eating and weight-related issues). I have extensive experience working with young adults and have worked primarily in college counseling centers, including the University of Miami, George Mason University, and Georgetown University's Counseling Center, before moving to full-time private practice. I remain a referral source for many of NYC's universities.
It is not uncommon to find ourselves struggling with our emotional and psychological well-being, our relationships with others, or our relationship with ourselves. It is my belief that through a supported exploration of such issues, you can achieve relief, clarity, and more fulfilling life.
