What's My Approach to Therapy?
You might be here because you’re exhausted from overthinking, feeling disconnected from yourself, stuck in painful relationship patterns, or constantly wondering why you can’t just “feel better.” Maybe you’re high-functioning on the outside but quietly overwhelmed on the inside. If that sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.
I work with young adults who feel anxious, self-critical, unsure of themselves, or disconnected from their bodies and emotions. My role is to offer a space where you don’t have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or have all the answers. You get to show up exactly as you are.
Our work together is collaborative, relational, and grounded in real life. We’ll explore where your patterns come from with curiosity and compassion, while also building practical tools to help you regulate anxiety, strengthen boundaries, and feel more confident in your relationships and decisions. I don’t believe in “fixing” you—I believe in helping you understand yourself more deeply so change can happen in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.
Therapy with me is about slowing down, feeling understood, and learning how to trust yourself again.
My Practice & Services
I offer virtual therapy for adults across New York, providing a warm, supportive space that’s accessible and flexible for busy lives. My practice is rooted in relational, trauma-informed, and mind-body focused care, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel emotionally safe, respected, and truly seen.
In addition to individual therapy, I periodically offer support groups and group therapy experiences focused on themes such as body image, self-worth, anxiety, and life transitions. These groups are designed to foster connection, shared understanding, and practical tools for growth in a supportive community setting.
I also collaborate with other wellness professionals when needed, including dietitians, psychiatrists, and other providers, to support holistic, whole-person care. I currently practice on an out-of-network basis and am happy to provide documentation for reimbursement and help clients understand their benefits.
My goal is to make therapy feel approachable, grounded, and supportive—whether you’re starting with individual work or exploring the power of group connection.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
If you're on the fence about therapy, I want you to know there's nothing wrong with that. Most people don't arrive at this decision feeling confident and certain. They arrive feeling unsure, overwhelmed, tired, curious, skeptical, hopeful - sometimes all at once.
You don't need to be in crisis. You don't need a dramatic reason. You don't even need to know exactly what's wrong. Many people come to therapy simply because they feel off, stuck, disconnected, or exhausted from carrying everything on their own.
You're allowed to take up space here - even if your doubts are still loud. Therapy doesn't require you to arrive "ready." You can arrive exactly as you are.
Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance
More than any tool or technique, I believe the relationship we build together is what makes therapy work. You do not heal because someone gives you the "right" insight - you heal because you finally feel safe enough to be honest, messy, confused, guarded, hopeful - all of it.
My goal is for our work to feel collaborative, warm, and steady. I want you to feel like you do not have to translate yourself, perform, or prove that things are "bad enough" to be here. We move at your pace. We check in when things feel tender. We talk openly when something is not landing.
Trust is not demanded in this space - it is built slowly, through consistency, care, and real human connection. And I take that responsibility seriously.
