My Approach to Helping

I am a Licensed Psychotherapist (LCSW) and practiced life coach at the Wellness Road Psychology practice. I have almost two decades of experience as a therapist to the stars (artists, public figures, and musicians). I specialize in working with individuals with Anxiety, drawing on my extensive experience in psychology and clinical therapy. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Object Relation Theory, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to treat adults, children, and adolescents.

I previously worked as an Educational CoordinatorCounsellor, and believe in creating systems that help people holistically. I am also experienced with treating and assessing people with ADHD in New York. An early diagnosis of ADHD is vital for giving you the tools one needs to navigate life successfully and meaningfully.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Object Relation, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, and her experience in Life Coaching to treat depression, anxiety, trauma, and more. My clients love my quiet confidence and understanding.

I am a licensed Psychotherapist (LCSW), and Life Coach who has over 18 years of experience helping others. I draw upon my extensive knowledge in education, psychology, and clinical therapy when working with children, adolescence, young adults, adults, and seniors who are experiencing problems with: depression, crisis, anger, anxiety, bullying, career, family, stress, domestic violence, divorce, body image, self-esteem, trauma, parenting, relationships, bereavement, illness, substance abuse, assault, sexual orientation, and personal transitions. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education from Clark University, I went on to graduate from Yeshiva University Wuzweiler School of Social Work, where I obtained a Master of Social Work with a clinical degree. Wanting to enhance her knowledge, I further educated myself by completing a life coaching program plus finishing a two-year Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) curriculum. In addition to my private client sessions, I have worked as a Psychotherapist in a high volume emergency room and Level 1 trauma center in a New York City hospital. I have also been a site supervisor Psychotherapist in an outpatient mental health clinic and was previously a New York City Case Planner in Preventative Services and as an Educational CoordinatorCounselor.
I am a graduate of Coach U’s Core Essentials Program, enhancing her life coaching practice. Recently I completed Dialectic Behavior Therapy Foundations Training from the Behavioral Tech A Lienehan Institute Training Company. I have comprehensive training in DBT (Directive behavioral therapy).
