My Approach to Helping
The reality is that we are not taught when we’re young about our emotions, how to communicate our needs, or how to process deeply stressful situations. Many of us are forced to learn about this when we are already suffering from high stress or in a crisis.
Therapy can be a great place to do that learning (and unlearning), and it can also be a place to be proactive about learning these patterns and needs before they are a crisis so that we can increasingly become the best possible version of ourselves.
My goal as your therapist is to create an environment in which you feel safe to be yourself. I do this by showing up as authentically myself and making you the priority in session.
All you need to do is commit to the work. Show up, share your story, and together, we will unpack all that might be going on and align on possible next steps.
I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and to grow together through this powerful work.
