My Approach to Helping
As a therapist and yoga teacher, part of my approach involves integrating mindfulness, the mind-body connection, and movement into talk therapy. By bringing awareness to how your body experiences emotions, we can address the stress, overwhelm, and anxiety you’re carrying and create space for more joy, compassion, and ease.
We’ll also use other evidence-based strategies to recognize unhelpful patterns, explore the relationship between your past and present experiences, and identify goals to support the future self you want to create.
My hope is for you to find the strength to be kind to yourself, set boundaries, and live whatever life you want. You are not broken, and there is nothing wrong with you. You are worthy and capable just as you are. Throughout our time together, we’ll focus on making you feel more connected, embodied, and in control so you can find your inner harmony.
