Do you identify as transgender or gender non-conforming? Do you have a difficult time finding a therapist that "gets" you? Then look no further. As a therapist, advocate and member of the community, I understand the effects that stigma and discrimination have on an individual's mental health and medical health. My approach is client-centered, and I work with you at your pace on issues and concerns that you are ready and comfortable to explore. My work style is eclectic, and I utilize an approach that is tailored to your needs. To support your overall well-being, I can also provide appropriate referrals to community resources.

Depression, anxiety, anger, shame, isolation and vulnerability are not exclusive to the transgender communities. These issues are universal. In my practice, I also work with a broad range of individuals from various cultures, professions, sexual orientations, gender identities, and abilities, to name a few. It is my goal to support you in the process of making and/or maintaining a healthy and positive change in your life.

My fees range from $120 to $180 per session, payable either by cash or check. I am happy to provide documentation to facilitate the reimbursement.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is one of many pathways toward change. The path involves a journey that sometimes might have bumps along the way. As your therapist, I am committed to providing support, insights and guidance that might help in navigating through difficult feelings, behaviors and thoughts. I also firmly believe that psychotherapy does not necessarily have to end when a goal or change is achieved; it is beneficial in maintaining the progress and stability.
