I believe that you are the expert on yourself, my job as your therapist is to aid you in becoming the person that you desire to be. I work with individuals primarily from what is known as Person Centered (or Client Centered) Therapy point of view. This means that the relationship that we build during your therapy sessions is an important part of how your treatment progresses.

The primary component of this theory is "unconditional positive regard" which means that I don't approve or disapprove of my clients and/or their behaviors. Rather, I meet you where you currently are and work with you to resolve the issues that are important to you. I generally don't begin a session with an agenda, rather I let you, as the expert, set the agenda for each session.
