Therapy can help you when the struggles of life cause you to feel alone and overwhelmed. I believe the supportive relationship from a therapist can be a key piece in moving towards a place of healing and growth.

I help individual adults with anxiety, depression, and grief. My clinical experience ranges from chronic mental illness to helping individuals navigate challenging life transitions.

My hope is to create a safe space filled with compassion and empathy, while being relieved from judgement.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I work especially well with people who are new to therapy, and might feel uncomfortable coming into their first therapy session. Most of us are hesitant to allow another person to help us change something as fragile as the thoughts, emotions and behaviors within our own lives. It is important to note when working with me you will be directing your own change process. As a client, you and I would be working together to better understand your story and the barriers preventing you from moving in the direction you hope to go. This gentle approach to counseling focuses on giving you the support and unconditional acceptance needed for the strength to move in your own direction.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

First, I would like to take a moment to admire your resilience of continuing to search for a therapist despite having past negative experiences. Finding a therapist can be a tedious process and possibly even hurtful. I feel by moving slowly with the focus on creating a safe place, we can help you maintain the control over your personal experience in therapy.
