My Approach to Helping
Congratulations to you for taking this initial step forward into your wellness journey. Through compassion, empathy, and attention, I provide a safe space for you to flourish and grow as you address and heal your wounded parts. By establishing a warm and welcoming space, my goal is to help you to reach tangible goals and to have a meaningful transformation. Together, we will do the required work to improve your relationship with yourself so you can show up as your true authentic self.
I see therapy as teamwork and it is my goal to partner with you through your journey. I enjoy using a variety of treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), person-centered, attachment-based therapy, and strengths-based approach.
With diverse individual and group counseling experience including work with adult survivors of trauma, at-risk youth, couples in crisis, and families in turmoil, I will be able to encourage change that allows people to identify and stand in their truth and be their best selves.
