My Approach to Helping

My mission is to guide people through loss and trauma toward acceptance and healing. Therapy isn't a space where we "fix ourselves," but rather where we find ourselves in our pain and discover how strong we are in the process.

Going to therapy is self-empowerment. It means making a conscious decision to take charge of your destiny. As a clinician, I meet each client where they are, honor their individuality and unique life experience, and co-create a space where they can feel—and heal—trauma, loss, and grief. I encourage clients to lead the conversation and ask questions to help them gain insight, reframe their perspectives, and achieve greater self-awareness.

By providing this safe container to unpack your lived experience, we’ll create coping strategies to find hope, overcome trauma, and move through grief.

More Info About My Practice

I'm committed to advocating for clients while also empowering them to be their own advocates. The work of self-exploration involves deconstructing old patterns and exploring how they originated—whether that be from early attachments, traumatic experiences, or cultural influences. This process helps us understand their impact and how we cope and respond.

Groups I Work With

I work with people who are grieving. Grief can show up due to a variety of circumstances, including after a sexual assault, a breakup, the loss of a job, or the death of a loved one. I also help clients struggling with identity and transitions, or who’ve had negative experiences impacting how they see themselves and the world.

Sitting with difficult emotions after these events can be isolating. It's normal to feel lonely, scattered, anxious, depressed, or disconnected in the aftermath. Wherever you are on your journey, I'm here to support you along the way.
