What's My Approach to Therapy?
I take an intuitive, relaxed, and collaborative style, building relationships based on trust, respect, and alliance. My love for being a talk therapist is evident in every session, where I find myself leaning into more psychodynamic approaches, including, but not limited to, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Together, we'll adapt, pivot, and shift therapeutic modalities to whatever the session is calling for that day.
You don't need to clean up beforehand—bring the mess, the hot tea, the persistent overthinking, and we'll unpack that deep-seated trauma response to a passive-aggressive email from your boss earlier. Bring it all. No need to filter, perform, or have it all figured out. I'm here to sit with you in the mess(y), the lost, and the in-between spaces.
