What's My Approach to Therapy?
There has never been a better time to take a focused look at our lives: what’s working, what’s missing, where you are now, and where you want to be. Maybe you feel stuck. Maybe you feel broken. Your history does not have to define your destiny. The power of connection in therapy can heal. Using a psychodynamic approach through an attachment lens, we’ll take a look at your life experience without dwelling in the past. We can identify behavior that may not be serving you now. In therapy, you will be able to embrace your humanity, heal the hurt, and learn that, in fact, there is nothing wrong with you.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and graduated from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. Issues I can help with include anxiety, stress, depression, loneliness, relationships, drug and alcohol use, anger, sexuality, healthy boundaries, codependency, self-esteem, and more.
Before pursuing my passion for social work, I was an Emmy Award-winning producer creating impactful content for ABC News, the Discovery Channel, and Home and Garden Television.
I am an empathic and compassionate listener who believes in the healing power of connection. Often, the changes we need are ones that can be solved by learning new life skills: self-love, communication, boundaries, assertiveness, anger management, and strategic problem solving.
