My Approach to Helping
Life can be overwhelming and stressful at times leaving you feeling trapped and not knowing what to do. Therapy can be helpful in finding ways to work towards making positive changes, alleviating stress and building coping skills that will help you manage the inevitable stressors that life will bring. Through therapy one can build self esteem and alleviate symptoms that have been holding you back from feeling content with life.

I believe in working collaboratively with you on making changes and becoming the best you. The therapeutic relationship is one in which there is no judgement and one can openly assess and discover what is needed to make healthy changes. I believe in providing a supportive and empathic environment to assist with navigating through hard symptoms and emotions while assisting you in becoming empowered to make changes.
I use an eclectic approach working to meet the individually specific needs of each person I work with. I have experience using a strength based approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness skills, solution focused therapy, and several other therapy models best fit for the difficulties faced by whatever stressors are present.
A major focus of my work is doing therapy with parents struggling with parenting issues. Working on you; can reduce anxiety symptoms, improve anger management and improve your relationships with your children.
I have assisted patients in dealing with marital stressors, tumultuous relationships, problems at work, post partum adjustment difficulties, issues with transitions, parenting issues, grief, trauma, poor relationships with food and array of other life stressors. I have worked with individuals, couples, families and groups utilizing individual specific approaches. Allow me the opportunity to assist you with making the changes you so desire.
