My Approach to Helping
I believe the therapeutic relationship is paramount for treatment to be successful. I aim to create a safe, collaborative, and supportive environment to get to know you and develop our alliance. I join you on your life path with empathy and understanding. We will work together to move you forward in your health and wellness. Some modalities I use in my work include, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma-Focused, and Strength-Based Practices.
During our work together, you will be able to express yourself in a non-judgmental space. We will collaborate to establish goals during the course of treatment, such as developing coping skills, gaining insight into feelings, and attaining an overall sense of wellness. I will guide you in the direction you want go and help you recognize your strengths and achievements; therefore, using them to foster your growth.
