My Approach to Helping
After around 10 ten years of therapy, I've come to realize that there are a few reasons client choose therapy. Some people need someone to talk to-some who understands them and others in their life as well as someone confidential. Additionally, individuals suffering from unwanted or annoying feelings such as depression, stress, confusion...that ruin their life satisfaction/progress want help being happier. Thankfully I have found that my clients benefit tremendously in both areas and even enjoy talking with me. They walk away from session feeling validated, normalized, and "armed" with an effective arsenal to deal with life's challenges.
Some humor therapy never hurt anyone either :)
