My Approach to Helping
Mindy believes in therapy being a collaborative process, working in tandem with her clients to establish goals and work on them in a way tailored to the individual. She provides a safe, affirming space to practice openness and exploration of oneself. Mindy earned a certificate in Advanced Clinical Practice from New York University, adding to her eclectic skill set. She pulls mostly from psychodynamic, CBT, and mindfulness techniques. Mindy strives to create a relaxed and nonjudgmental environment, bringing a sense of humor and grounding to her practice. Mindy specializes in treating mood disorders (depression, anxiety, etc.), trauma, addressing relational concerns, and stress management.
