My Approach to Helping
I practice from a holistic, person-centered mindset, tailoring tools and approaches to each client’s unique life experiences, perspectives, and needs. My approach is warm, empowering, and non-judgmental. My background as a fine artist and yoga teacher enables me to bring creativity, movement, vulnerability, and even humor into sessions.
I specialize in working with adolescents, women and gender-expansive adults, and couples. I have worked closely with folks experiencing life transitions, such as the challenges of emerging adulthood, changing relationships, and self-esteem. I also have experience with survivors of intimate partner violence and individuals experiencing complex trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and posttraumatic stress (PTSD). With couples, I partner with all forms of relationships to tackle challenges, including communication, disconnection, infidelity, and resentment.
