My Approach to Helping
I see my clients as whole, complex individuals, deserving of a safe space to find clarity, receive support, and explore new ways of being and interacting with the world. Whether it's navigating relationship difficulties, life transitions, identity exploration, or mental health symptoms like anxiety and depression, we can work together to find what works for you to integrate more helpful and authentic ways of being.
In my work, I prioritize connecting authentically with clients and providing a healing, corrective experience. I believe healing happens in relationships with others, and through growing compassion for ourselves. It’s a priority for me to meet my clients where they’re at, but I always work from a trauma-informed, relational, feminist-multicultural perspective. I am passionate about honoring all parts of each client in order to move toward more awareness, balance, and healing.
I work collaboratively with clients to find ways to increase authenticity and wellness in their lives. My clinical experience and interests include working with the LGBTQ+ community, women’s issues, men and masculinity, self-compassion, and shame. I often utilize approaches based in relational-cultural therapy, interpersonal process, and Internal Family Systems.
