My Approach to Helping
Taking the challenge to engage in the therapeutic process means being able to prioritize your own needs and desires, so that you can be more engaged with yourself and lead a life that you find fulfilling and rewarding. I believe that real change happens when we connect our minds with our bodies. It is my role as your therapist to help you understand these challenges and to work through issues together. I also have a creative arts background and have worked extensively with individuals struggling with creativity.
I work on Zoom, telephone, and in person. My office for in-person therapy is located within a suite with other offices. It is not accessible for people with physical disabilities. My office hours begin at 9:00 a.m. and go through 7:00 p.m. I am flexible on Saturday and Sunday, if needed.
I think it is important to have a ‘trial’ session to see if we can work together. During these trial sessions, it will allow the person and me the opportunity to see if we can establish a working relationship.
