My Approach to Helping
I have 23 years of experience in the mental health field. I am highly adept at solving problems, communicating, building and establishing relationships, and helping clients gain mastery over anger and anxiety. I work with families, couples, individuals, and groups, and am a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor. In this role, I educate the public about the identification of and intervention in youth mental health crises. In addition to my private practice, I've also offered direct services in schools and an OMHC.

My Role as a Therapist
I am able to relate to all different types of people, put them at ease, help them realize they are not alone and their situation is not permanent-- relating to people as people. I don't have all the answers but I do know life changes and circumstances change. Life goes on and change is possible. I provide treatment in a variety of modes, including individual, family, couples, and group therapies. I work with adolescents, adults, families, and couples.
