My Approach to Helping
Counseling can help you handle life obstacles in a healthy way. It can be scary, daunting, and overwhelming to start this healing journey. It can be easy to isolate yourself, to shove down the pain, or think you can’t be helped. No matter what your struggle is, you don’t have to go through it alone. I assist individuals and couples as they work through struggles including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, addiction, grief and loss. As we work together, I aim to help you feel heard, validated, and empowered.
Through our time working together, I tailor my approach to each individual, so you get the best care you need. I utilize a range of approaches including CBT, DBT, Narrative, Positive Psychology, Solution Focused, and Strength-Based therapy. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental, and safe environment to help explore the past, present, and the life you hope for in the future.
