My Approach to Helping
During these challenging times, psychotherapy can be daunting and anxiety-provoking for some. Therapy should be seen as an investment in yourself; something that brings joy and value to your life. Elizabeth works hard to offer and create an empathetic space where she encourages you to seek a better understanding of both yourself and your situation. Elizabeth is a strong believer that everyone’s situation is unique and as a consequence, the treatment that one receives cannot have a one size fits all mentality. She strives to work with individuals, couples and families to manage a wide range of issues such as: depression, anxiety, relationships, life-stage and griefloss.
Elizabeth is a licensed clinical social worker and a credentialed addiction and substance abuse counselor (CASAC) whose career has been focused on integration with providers, person-centered treatment and working with my clients to encourage resilience and personal growth. Therapy is a way to address your everyday challenges and face them head-on; to work on building new habits and to develop a new mindset that directs you towards greater confidence, self-acceptance and forming new personal, relationship or professional goals without fear of rejection or judgement.
