My Approach to Helping
Jungian Psychotherapy uses the classical 'talking cure' developed by Carl Jung, Joseph Alder and Sigmund Freud, all three the founders of psychology. The Jungian focus of this office works with the theory of depth psychology that believes in the ability of the personal and collective unconscious to affect our daily behavior and choices in life. Psychotherapy practices such as dream tending, image work with art, sand tray imaginal work along with active imagination techniques and somatic therapy all combine with talk therapy to engage the unconscious and make what is not known present to us.
More Info About My Practice
The therapeutic relationship itself becomes the vehicle that brings one into wholeness. The suffering you experience in life from trauma, grief and loneliness offers cracks or openings into the world of your individual psyche. These cracks are the gateway to expanded and soulful intelligence. Together the therapist and the client walk through this gateway together, achieving deeper healing and understanding of your true needs.
