My Approach to Helping
I work with individual teens and adults along your journey toward greater self-knowledge and healing. In therapy, we take the time to slow down with all of the experiences that have made you, you. Then, we decide how these experiences fit into the narrative of your life and where we may need to update some belief systems or incorporate new learnings to show up fully and authentically. Most of our work looks like connecting with all the parts of you with curiosity and compassion. I firmly believe that people are incredibly resilient and our brains are oriented toward healing if we provide the environment for it. I approach the therapeutic process experientially and collaboratively, joining with each client and utilizing individualized interventions to meet your needs. I practice from a trauma informed lens, and prioritize safety throughout the healing process. Some modalities which I pull from are Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, & Emotionally Focused Therapy.
