Are symptoms of anxiety, depression, anger or loneliness getting in the way of your wellbeing? Struggling in your relationships? Even when other aspects of our lives are going well, these types of challenges can have a serious impact on our wellbeing. My goal is to support you in overcoming such difficulties so that you can connect with others and thrive in your life.

We all struggle. It's universal. Sometimes we're able to get by on our own, or with the support of friends or family. Other times, additional support is needed - either to learn new coping skills, consider a different perspective or explore new insights. Compassion, connection and commitment to your needs are the foundation of what I offer. I will be your ally and your champion in your healing process. I consider it an honor to provide such support as a therapist.

Therapy works best when there is a genuine connection between client and therapist. I invite you to call for a free consultation so you can get a feel for our work together.

More Info About My Practice

The decision to seek therapy is an important step toward meaningful improvements your life. I recognize, however, there are competing priorities for your time and financial resources. All too often, focusing on your wellbeing doesn't get the attention it deserves. As a therapist, I strive to address your concerns to the best of my clinical ability, while also respecting your time and resources. We will work collaboratively to ensure we keep focused on the issues that are most important to you.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Two main areas of focus in my practice are: 1) Supporting busy professionals with relationships issues, anxiety and life transitions; and 2) Addressing family and child-related issues (family of origin wounds, parenting challenges, disruptive child behaviors, the impact of divorce and separation, etc.).

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process

It is normal to have concerns about the therapy process. Perhaps you're not sure your troubles are significant enough to warrant therapy? Perhaps you've had a negative experience in the past? Alternatively, you may worry that it will be a waste of your time and money.

If you are considering therapy, I encourage you to listen to that inner voice that is striving to feel better. Relief is possible and available, and you deserve to feel better. The key is to find a therapist that you generally "click" with. Also, I encourage you to give feedback throughout the process so adjustments can be made. Remember, you are the customer!
