My Approach to Helping
Finding a therapist can be an overwhelming process. I believe safety and non-judgment are two of the most important aspects of the therapeutic relationship. I am committed to supporting you as we explore your thoughts and feelings, looking closely at barriers that until now have limited your insights and clarity. Your power to feel better comes from looking inward and I want to help you do the work to get to that healing place.
Together we will enter into a relationship that provides safety and support for exploring the underlying causes of distress. I am curious about how your mind works and how your experiences have shaped who you are today. I am even more curious about the parts that you are protecting, which are likely bringing you to therapy in the first place. I want to help you uncover your deeper, truer self, making sense of your experiences and gaining greater understanding of yourself. Finding self-awareness will reconnect you with your gifts and positive attributes, and will guide you to a more enjoyable life.
