More Info About My Practice

I am not only a licensed professional counselor, but also a licensed addiction counselor. What that means is you can feel confident in discussing any concerns you have regarding behaviors you find impacting your life negatively.

Here are examples of just some of the issues that can become troublesome and cause worry and stress: abusing substances, trying to care for and/or control others (co-dependency), compulsively shopping online or in person. I can help you address these concerns with empathy and sensitivity. We can assess the impact of these actions on your peace of mind and happiness and move forward with a plan to help restore balance.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

I believe almost all people can benefit from psychotherapy with me in that I provide a safe, non-judgmental, objective, and experienced viewpoint to help you gain a wider perspective on your issues, problems, and concerns.

Although most of us have supportive networks of friends and family with which to discuss our problems, sometimes we find that we are uncomfortable or hesitant to tell these thoughts to others. As a licensed counseling professional, I am bound in most situations by confidentiality, meaning your thoughts and feelings can be safely discussed and you can feel comfortable and supported. To have the experience of verbally processing your innermost thoughts with a skilled and experienced professional can be life changing.

I invite anyone struggling with their problems, or stuck and not being able to move forward, to contact me. We will collaborate on defining your goals for therapy, and then we can address your concerns together.
