My Approach to Helping
Life has gotten more stressfull. Worries about health, the economy, and how to navigate this new world we are living in start to pile up. Relationships become strained, always together, but hardly any quality time. Can't do the things we used to do for fun. It's tough to see how we get through this. Find ourselves getting angry over little things that never used to be an issue. Avoid things, distract, numb ourselves but the problems are still there. Try to talk about it and then things blow up.

In Couples Counseling, we work to identify and stop hurtful patterns. Couples learn healthy ways to communicate, resolve conflicts, and work toward common goals. We work through negative experiences from the past, so that we don't stay stuck in anger or resentment. Couples often never resolve old issues and keep bringing them up over and over again, continuing the pain - there's no need to keep doing this! You can regain trust and become stronger.
