I love helping women live happier lives. If you're a woman over 30 who feels depressed, anxious, has panic attacks, stressed, or just don't feel like yourself anymore, get ready to transform these negative feelings into peace and contentment.

How? In our work together we collaboratively examine your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, both past and present, to get to the root cause of what could be holding you back from having the kind of life and success you want.

You'll learn practical and very effective research-based skills and strategies so you become empowered and won't repeat the actions that brought you to therapy; in essence, you become your own psychologist.

I've devoted my professional life to helping women have more in their lives...more peace, more joy, more love. Call me today and let's get started putting "more" back into your life.

By the way, if you're a tea and chocolate lover like me, I'll have both waiting for you when you arrive.

Talk with you soon. Dr. B.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I'm passionate about working with women who have super busy minds. This is the type of mind that wakes and keeps you up in the wee hours of the morning; keeps you worrying and feeling anxious; berates you when you make even the tiniest mistake; or insults you for no reason.

There are simple, easy-to-learn, and very effective skills that can help you stop feeling anxious and quiet your busy mind so you can experience the peace you want, need, and deserve. Let me help you quiet your mind.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

I have my own story of feeling overwhelmed and stressed. A lot of the time I felt like I was spinning my wheels. I also lost a lot of sleep because my mind would not shut up. This went on for years until I got serious and decided enough was enough.

Yes, I have sat in the same chair as you. I learned how my own negative internal dialogue was sabotaging my having peace. Years later in my clinical training, I focused on learning how to help others with the same patterns.

So when you tell me how you feel, or that your mind won't shut up, I have complete empathy. I also know that you can transform feeling overwhelmed into feeling peace and having direction for your life. I have done that for myself and many of the women I have worked with have done that too. You need practical strategies, the tools that really work to interrupt the worrying and anxiety.

Once you have these tools, you become able to recognize and rewrite the stressful thoughts that limit your happiness, success, and most of all, your peace. So I will hold the vision and the hope for you, knowing that you too, can have the peace, the life you desire.
